But there is still better! Thanks to its shallow depth, some 30,000 islets and archipelagos emerge from the fresh waters of the bay, transforming it into a paradise for swimming and exploring the Georgian Bay by kayak.
In the backdrop of our days: wild nature, islands and islands, centennial pines carved by the wind or small bays.
Our kayaking trip north of Georgian Bay begins in the Britt / Byng Inlet area. We will walk to the north-west of the bay and explore this coast which is one of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserves.
We will paddle around Churchill, Cunningham, Roger and many more. Then we will make stopover on the North-West route of the coureurs des bois and travelers during the great period of the fur trade, or at the mouth of the delta of the famous French River.
You’ll understand why Georgian Bay was the favorite place for some Group of Seven painters!
Departure from Quebec City or Montreal very early in the morning to have enough time for the preparations once there. We should arrive at Grundy Lake Provincial Park around 4:00 pm Once there we will have time to finalize the preparations.

To explore and discover the islands of Georgian Bay by kayak, we travel between 12 and 20 km per day. A perfect distance to enjoy this magical place, its sites full of history such as Dead Island, see the French River and many swimming in the crystal clear water.
Our return to Britt will allow us to experience the immensity of this inland sea with the horizon to starboard and thousands of granite islands of a beautiful rosé with port.
The atmosphere of the evenings is one of the highlights of the trip. Find yourself outdoors lovers on a rock island, admire the sky we offer all the color of the sunset can only relax us to the fullest. Finally, it is to wonder how we lived so long without knowing this little corner of paradise!

After a good lunch, return to Britt before noon, then head to Montreal and Quebec City in the comfort of our minibus. You may even be lucky enough to spot a moose crossing Algonquin Provincial Park.

Upon reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount of the invoice will be required. You must make this deposit by credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). If you cancel your reservation, we will only keep the non-refundable deposit
Any changes must be made by email or telephone and subject to availability. You can cancel your reservation up to 30 working days before the date of travel. If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days in advance, we will only keep the non-refundable deposit. When a cancellation is made less than 30 working days from the date of travel, an amount equivalent to the total value of the trip will be charged. Possibility of transferring the amount for another activity in the calendar year.
