Located on the eastern fringe of Lake Huron, Georgian Bay is a huge inland sea and a dream spot for kayakers of all levels.

But there is still better! Thanks to its shallow depth, some 30,000 islets and archipelagos emerge from the fresh waters of the bay, transforming it into a paradise for swimming and exploring the Georgian Bay by kayak.

In the backdrop of our days: wild nature, islands and islands, centennial pines carved by the wind or small bays.

Our kayaking trip north of Georgian Bay begins in the Britt / Byng Inlet area. We will walk to the north-west of the bay and explore this coast which is one of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserves.

We will paddle around Churchill, Cunningham, Roger and many more. Then we will make stopover on the North-West route of the coureurs des bois and travelers during the great period of the fur trade, or at the mouth of the delta of the famous French River.

You’ll understand why Georgian Bay was the favorite place for some Group of Seven painters!
