Progress
Sea-kayaking offers you a way to discover Orléans Island from a different perspective while enjoying outdoor summer fun and low-impact exercise. No experience is needed for this sport.
You’ll meet your experienced guide in Quebec City or at the Parc maritime de Saint-Laurent where you will be provided with all the necessary equipment and simple-to-follow techniques to paddle.
Your guide will then give you a brief safety talk (weather, map, paddle …) and show you how to set and use your kayak. Once you’re ready, sit in your kayak and follow your guide along the coast as you experience summer beauty. You will have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and rest breaks.

Weather
We think there is no bad weather in a kayak. The activity always takes place. In case of situation with a lot of rain, risk of thunderstorms or too big waves, the activity will be transferred. The final decision to cancel in case of bad weather is the responsibility of the guide or the administration of Quatre Natures.
How to get there
From the entrance to Île d’Orléans, follow the direction of Saint-Laurent. Arriving at the village, on your right you will see the sign of the Parc maritime de Saint-Laurent (Maritime Park of Saint-Laurent). Free parking is at the bottom of the path.

Booking Policies
When booking, the total amount of the invoice must be paid. You must make your payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express).
In case of cancellation made more than 30 days before the date of your activity, your reservation will be refunded 100%. Between 29 days and 3 days before the date of your activity, 70% of the total amount will be refunded to you. No refund for a cancellation less than 3 days before your activity.
Changing a reservation : Any changes must be made by email or telephone and are subject to availability. Please contact us at reservation@quatrenatures.com or 418 271-7234.
Weather : The decision to cancel in case of bad weather is the responsibility of the guide or the administration of Quatre Natures. Under no circumstances the customer can cancel and have a refund if he does not like the weather.
