A ski-shoeing hike (Ski-Hok) to discover a little-known territory of the Jacques-Cartier National Park as well as to become familiar with this activity.

The first kilometers will allow you to get the proper equipment and the technique of travel, which will take us to a refuge where we will have a dinner break. Then, we will continue our trek in a zone a little more technical to master the rise and the descent of telemark type before the return to our point of departure.

The tour will allow you to properly acquire the equipment and master the technique to venture safely! Come try!

How the day went

How to get there

Enjoy our bus and free transportation from your Quebec City hotel. To be chosen at the time of booking.

You can also go to the park with your car. The Jacques-Cartier National Park is located in the tourist region of Quebec City. It is accessed by road 175, via exit 182, Chemin du Parc-National. The park is 30 minutes from Quebec City.

To get from Quebec City, take Route 73 North (follow signs for Saguenay) which will become Route 175 North. The entrance to the Vallée sector is located at exit 182, Chemin du Parc-National. From downtown Quebec City to the entrance to the Valley area, it takes 40 km. Add 10 km to the main building.


We think there is no bad weather in winter. The activity always takes place. In situations where the temperature is extreme (-35 C⁰) or the amount of snow is not adequate, the activity will be transferred. The final decision to cancel in case of bad weather is the responsibility of the guide or the administration of Quatre Natures.

Booking Policy

Upon reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount of the invoice will be required. You must make this deposit by credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). If you cancel your reservation, we will only keep the non-refundable deposit.

Any changes must be made by phone or e-mail and subject to availability. You can cancel or change your reservation up to 48 hours before the start of the activity. If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours in advance, we will only keep the non-refundable deposit. If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start of the activity, an amount equivalent to the total value of the activity will be debited. Possibility of transferring the amount for another activity in the calendar year.
